La Givan

“La Givan” is a collection with an intentionally unusual name: not a formal word, but one drawn from the regional spoken language of its creators’ homeland, loosely meaning “Stay and Talk Together.” The core idea is simple yet powerful: when you sit down to talk, status doesn’t matter—you start out guarded, like wearing armor, but by the end, that protection comes down and you connect on equal terms.

This collection intertwines a touch of my cultural heritage with many silhouettes inspired by the 1980s, each adding value when combined. The “armor” concept is expressed through striking, architectural silhouettes that gradually release into softer, more open shapes. This interplay captures the emotional arc of dialogue—from initial defense to final openness.

In La Givan, structure meets vulnerability, tradition meets innovation, and individuality meets unity. It’s a celebration of conversation, connection, and the beautiful transformation that happens when we truly listen.
